Along with its integrity, DBC offers a suite of Business Management applications that can cater to ultimately any industry. From a point-of-sale product to full enterprise retail and wholesale Business management application. DBC’s Software allows for its customers to customize the software so that it meets their day-to-day business needs. Customer-specific features include customized reports, menus, and point-of-sale prompt flow. This Software is also a version of DBC’s Chameleonware product, this means that you get the same open system environment offering integration with Windows applications such as SQL, MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe, and MS Excel. The system interfaces with all major accounting packages, including QuickBooks, Business Works, Lawson, Mass90, AccPacWindows, Peachtree and Great Plains. Companies also are able to manage their inventory and work-flow using the following ChameleonWare tools: sales scripts and service notes, in-bound and out-bound call center tools for managing multiple locations, centralized scheduling dispatches, dispatch assignment mapping through Yahoo! Maps, multiple location connectivity management and security, and vendor online order integration. Vendor A/P invoices can be automatically imported into the system and audited against purchase orders. Supportive human resource and financial tools include an integrated time clock, internal e-mail and print management, vendor import and cost management, accounts receivable and standard general-ledger sales and inventory exports. ChameleonWare also offers seven-level security with industry-standard security reports and ASP. Reports can be scheduled to automatically run and text-messaged to the appropriate personnel; this allows business owners to receive sales updates while they are enjoying a game of golf. All documents (reports, sales transactions, statements, purchase orders, etc.) can be automatically e-mailed from the system, either as an attachment or within the body of the e-mail itself. The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module allows salespeople and CSRs to track contacts, to-do items, and expenses for prospective and active accounts. Document imaging ties scanned images directly to sales transactions and purchase orders in the software. This form of software differs from our standard Chameleonware product in the sense that it is not tied to one single industry. DBC recognized the need for companies to have their own form of functions when it comes to their day-to-day business needs. DBC’s Point of Sale package and business management software allows you to mold the application into the tool that you need.
Employee Time Clock and Management
- Employees can use the system to clock in or out, Data can then be used to calculate their wages
System can account for Paid vacations, holidays, overtime and sick leave. Stops can also be put into place to manage Employees time to your specification.
DBC’s full inventory control allows you to ensure that your assets are exactly where you need them to be. Each item can be tracked using BAR code systems, RFID or even using a custom serial that the system can print out.
Multi tax zone support
When you have locations scattered across a large area it is not easy to ensure that you have the correct tax rates setup, thus ensuring that the correct tax is being charged to your customers. With Chameloneware you can ensure that your taxes are properly calculating at a glance. you can also post date tax zone changes. This helps the staff in allowing them to enter a tax zone now, and have it take effect later.
Custom Menus for users
Let’s face it, not all users are going to need the same options as everyone else. DBC’s software can put passwords on menu options or even add/remove menus based on users and groups. You can choose what your users can see and have access to based on the custom menus you design.
Custom Reports for Managers
Many Point of sale and business management systems are unable to generate reports based on what you want. Most of them give you a set of reports that you must analyze yourself. Using DBC’s report writer, you can now choose how you want your data manipulated. The report can then be printed or exported to an a variety of formats including PDF, Excel, Word, CSV or even Text files. You can also save your reports in your database for others to use as well as for your future use.
Web Based .ASP front end
DBC hosts data in its data center; this leaves the Maintainance and management to us. It also allows you to concentrate on the future of your business. DBC has security details that can block your main site from the internet as well as allow a web based side for online sales and customer support to be exposed and accessed by future customers.
- The GUI front end allows for your employees to use the system with ease, but it does not limit you to its customization. Options can still be allowed and denied based on the users credentials.
